If you like via ferratas, then you will love the via ferrata in the Sesto Dolomites. Experience this magnificent mountain world of the Three Peaks. Sesto is thehome to the most spectacular and interesting via ferrata in the Dolomites. On our tour we master 10 via ferrata in one of the most beautiful regions of South Tyrol in just 4.5 days. Many legendary via ferrata in the area were named after famous mountaineers, who began toscout out the Dolomites about 200 years ago.
The tour price includes the overnight stay incl. half board, as well as the rental equipment.

Day 1: We meet at the parking lot of the Rifugio Lunelli (From Sesto to the Kreuzberg Pass and then down again until the small road into Val Grande turns right and here continues on a small paved road to the Rif. Lunelli). After an equipment check, we start today without a via ferrata and hike comfortably up to the Rifugio Berti. (Ascent 400hm, walking time 2h)
Day 2: After an strengthning breakfast, it's time to get work done. To have an exciting start, todays aim ist o master the difficult "Ferrata Roghel" (difficulty K4-5) and the "Cengia Gabriella" (difficulty K3. After this first exhausting day, the Carducci hut offers the first night quarters. (Ascent 1500hm, descent 1100hm, walking time 6-7h, difficulties K3-K5)
Day 3: Today we continue over the "Ferrata Nuova" (New Ferrata) (K2-3) to the Zwölferscharte and over the "Alpinisteig" (K1-2) to the Büllelejochhütte, which was created only a few years ago. At dinner we enjoy the breathtaking view and sunset at the Zwölfer. (Ascent 1200hm, descent 900hm, walking time 4-5h, difficulties K1-3)
Day 4: Today's via ferrata day leads over the "Sentiero delle Forcelle" (K2) to the Paternkofel. We cross the Toblinger Knoten via the "Leiternsteig" (K3) and hike over the Büllelejoch to the Zsigmondyhütte. (Ascent 700hm, descent 1100hm, walking time 7-8, difficulties K2-3)
Day 5: We continue our via ferrata with the spectacular "Strada degli Alpini" (K2-3). We cross the Sesto Red Wall on the difficult "Via Ferrata Zandonella" (K4-5) and reach the southeast path (K3) back to the parking lot at the Rifugio Lunelli. Here we end the afternoon with a delicious snack and think back to the huge tour of the last days.
