The Jubiläumsgrat is a high alpine mountain tour that is one of the absolute classics among the more demanding mountain tours in our region in terms of its breathtaking impressions and the thrill of crossing the ridge. Unfortunately, it is still underestimated by some mountaineers and confused with a conventional via ferrata, although most of it is free or you have to climb in a constant up and down up to the lower level of difficulty III. Of course, we also offer the tour as a day tour for guests who are in good shape and sure-footed and have the appropriate alpine (climbing) experience.
After checking our equipment, we take the first cable car to the summit of the Zuspitze and from there start the long and impressive tour towards the Alpspitze.
The impressively exposed Jubiläumsgrat is now directly in front of us and we often let our gaze wander to the left into the Höllental, which many mountaineers use to reach the summit of the Zugspitze. We pass the descent to the Knorrhütte via the Brunntalgrat, the new bivouac box and finally the Vollkarspitze and after a strenuous but unforgettable day we reach the Alpspitzbahn, which we then take down into the valley.
If the tour takes longer than 6 p.m. for fitness reasons, an additional charge of €150 is payable.
If you stay overnight in the bivouac box and therefore spend 2 days on the hike, an additional charge of €500 is payable
