Leaving your tracks in the powder away from the secured pistes. Descend safely and in a controlled manner with different gradients. Drive effortlessly through "heavy snow" and in bumps down to the valley. Everyone is familiar with these headlines. Depending on the current snow conditions, we want to learn them together in a ski area near Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Correct track selection, planning and the basics of the avalanche situation report are trained by the mountain and ski guide.
Process:
Day 1:
Depending on the snow conditions, we meet at a ski area near Garmisch Partenkirchen, usually the Eibsee cable car to the Zugspitze. After the equipment check, we take the gondola to the ski area and start the day with a short run-in. With targeted exercises and taking into account the avalanche situation, we learn how to ski in deep snow. At noon we stop in one of the cozy ski huts. Meanwhile, the important points of the avalanche situation report are explained. After strengthening we want to deepen what we have learned in different terrain and in changing snow conditions. All ascents are carried out with the existing mountain railways and ski lifts.
Day 2:
Today we want to improve our technique in steeper, more demanding terrain. Different cornering techniques and variable snow conditions require our full concentration. The focus is on safe driving in all types of snow and terrain. At noon we go back to one of the cozy ski huts to eat.
